The brass eyelets are used to strengthen and protect openings on leather, fabrics, canvases, and other materials. The rings are made of tough brass and are rust-resistant; they hold well when embedded in any craft material, adding an elegant touch. The eyelets come in various colours and are useful for scrapbooks, leather crafts, or adding flair to clothing designs.
To fit eyelets, using the Green Machine Hand Press®, simply take the Hole Cutting Die in the same size as your eyelets and cut a hole in your fabric. Swap out your hole cutting die for your Eyelet Die Set (also the same size), placing the base die in the bottom and screwing the top die into the top. Place your grommet face down over the stud of the base die, lay your pre cut hole over the top, place your washer over it, and slowly but firmly push your Green Machine handle down to secure your eyelet in place.
