The larger part of the die set is the one in which the stud is inserted, and it is placed in the lower part of the press while the second part is screwed onto the press
To fit Star Studs with Pins, using the Green Machine Hand Press®, first take your Star Studs Die Set base die and place it in the bottom of your Green Machine and screw your top die in above. Drop your post into the base die face down, with the post sticking up. Take your star and push it up into your top die. Place your fabric in between your dies and slowly but firmly press down the Green Machine handle to secure.
