These 4-part flat cap press studs are designed for secure and long-lasting fastening. The top cap is made from a high-quality alloy, giving it a sleek and polished finish, while the other three components—the stud, socket, and post—are crafted from strong iron for durability and reliable performance.
Perfect for use in clothing, leather goods, bags, shoes, and accessories, these press studs provide a firm and stylish snap closure. They can be easily attached using a hand tool, hammer, or a hand press machine with the appropriate die (sold separately).
To fit Flat Cap Press Studs, using the Green Machine Hand Press®, first cut a 3mm hole in your material with the 3mm Hole Cutting Die. Swap out your Hole Cutting Die for your Flat Cap Press Stud Setting Die, pair up your die parts and hardware as shown in the product
images. Place one base die with the appropriate component in the Green Machine and screw
in the matching top die above, also with the part needed. Lay your fabric with your pre cut
hole over the post on the base die and slowly but firmly press the Green Machine handle
down. Swap over your dies and repeat the process for the other half of the press studs.
