This DIY tool kit contains 100pcs of 4mm, 5mm, 6mm size eyelets and washers, a 3-part steel hand tool for fixing, and a storage box.
Brass Eyelets/Grommets are available in the four colours inside the kit: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Gunmetal (Package includes 25 pcs of each colour).
The eyelets are made from genuine quality brass and the hand hammer tool is made up of stainless steel.
How to use: They are quick and easy to install, but may require the use of a special setting die/pliers/setting tools/hand press machine. Place marked fabric on anvil; Poke a hole onto fabric using punch tool; insert eyelet into that punched hole, cover upper-side with washers and hammer them using setter tool to get finished hole lay-out.
There are a few things that need to be considered while using eyelets or grommets in the project:
- The type and thickness of the fabric or material
- The dimension of the hole
- The visibility of the area (whether it is decorative or functional)
