To fit S Spring Press Studs with the hand tool, start by placing your fabric on a self-healing cutting mat and use your hole cutting hand tool and a small mallet to create a hole in your fabric. Then push the post of your cap through your pre cut hole and lay the face of the cap on your anvil with the post sticking up. Take your socket and place it over the post. Use your smaller tool and place the pointed side through the hole in the socket. Hold the tool straight and hammer it down to secure. Now you take the post and push it through your pre cut hole, laid flat on the anvil. The sit your stud on top of the post and fabric. Take the larger hand tool. rest it over the stud and hold it straight whilst hammering it down.
